WISE HEALING DOLL
This Wise Healing Doll is my first attempt at using air dry paper clay. The armature is wire wrapped with masking tape. I used paper wrapped on the arms and legs for clothing. The loin cloth is also paper. I painted the doll with various inks and acrylic paints. Adornments range from my parrot's feathers, beads, wire, shells and other miscellaneous items. The stand is separate: made from air dry paper clay layered on old CDs glued together to give it a little weight. I used self-adhesive beads, inks, paints, found shells and objects to decorate the base. The doll can be removed from the stand.
